You musn't worry too much !
One of the things I probably shouldn't have done this Ramadhan was probably spend a couple of nights ago watching Bambi without being emotionally prepared for it. I mean, look at that bucket of adorableness on stilts! Can we just, take a moment to appreciate the wonderful Disney era that brought this bit of preciousness?! Aside from the obvious scenes that I openly bawled my eyes out at [Bambi's mama & the blam-blams ; Bambi & his dada ; Bambi & Faline! ; Thumper & Flower & "TWITTERPATED" ; More animals & the blam-blams ; The forest fire . . . Ugh, humans] the music score is ridiculously amazing! I just . . . Constant streaming of tears down my face, okay!
So I've a week left until Raya break, and I cannot wait! I'm already sort of preparing for Eid & it's gonna be super fun! By the way, has anyone watched the new Raya ad from Petronas? I thought this year's ad was absolutely adorable & sweet. You know, prior to the other emotional ones. Well, at least the one I watched wasn't as emotional. I can't really bring myself to watch emotional Raya videos. Breaks my poor wittle heart. Anyhoo, the ad I was talking about is this one :
I miss having an actual kampung. I think the last time that my kampung looked even remotely close to this was when I was twelve? Thirteen? Probably even before that. Then most of the houses in the area went through renovations so now most houses in the area are regular brick houses instead of wood like in the video. Then again, when your so-called kampung is only around the outskirts of Kuala Lumpur, what with it being the capitol city and all, really shouldn't come as a surprise for the surrounding area to rise up t modernisation. Oh well.
Tonight there's going to be some Ramadhan Youth Event in association with Charity Right if I'm not mistaken. Banana-Baby, being the bucketful of awesome-sauce that she is, invited me to attend said event along with a few other old friends. It's going to be the first time in a ridiculously long time that we'll get to meet again as a group so it's so exciting! I'm feeling ecstatic for tonight. And hey, it's for a good cause & might bring me closer to jannah. Hopefully.
With that being said, I shall spend the next few hours waiting to attend the event by emotionally tormenting myself watching another Disney classic. Any of you guys remember Robin Hood? You know, the one who steals from the rich & gives to the poor. Except he's a fox. As in, actual fox.
Not gonna lie, I had this ridiculous crush on him when I was a kid. He's so dreamy. That smug, sly little rascal. Anyways, gonna go enjoy watching him cause mischief, be all cool & amazing, and get the girl . . . vixen. Eh.
Oo de lally!
